Who Needs a Dental X-Ray?

Your dentist will determine if you need an x-ray based on several factors, including whether you’re a new patient or have specific needs. Typically, we give all our new patients a full-mouth x-ray to determine any dental issues we need to note. Returning patients generally receive fewer x-rays unless they’re dealing with a larger problem, such as gum disease.
